My kids always have seconds and thirds of this recipe, and it’s so easy to make. Best of all, it’s done in 10 minutes in an Instant Pot!
If you’re an Instant Pot newbie, this is the perfect recipe to start with. You only need 6 ingredients and it’s just as easy as making the Kraft Mac and cheese out of the box, only better!
Start off by pouring one 16 oz package of elbow macaroni, 4 cups of water, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 3 tablespoons of butter inside the Instant Pot. Give it a little stir to ensure the elbow macaroni is not stuck to the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Put the lid on the Instant Pot and make sure the vent is sealed. Set the Instant Pot on manual high pressure for 4 minutes. Once done, quick release the pressure. Take the lid off and set the Instant Pot on saute.
Add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream to the pot, along with 2 cups of shredded cheese, and stir until the cheese is melted and well blended.
